im guessing its supposed to imply that if you pray so much for something, it becomes you and takes you over. so since she prayed for the body, the dead body of christ, she therefore died when she got it. or it could simply be refering to the fact that that was her one dream to do in life, so once that happens, there is no other point of living life. or maybe its the fact that she was such a good girl, which you pointed out in a very creepy way, that she was wanted as an angel to guide others.

Oh, and the nun kept saying that she was a "very very good girl," so it's really her being creepy, not me.
