My concern is that if the plane was in the air, then how could a laser from the ground be seen in the cockpit?
Posted by at December 30, 2004 04:18 PMHow hasn't the tsunami made an impact? People have donated almost $10,000,000 already to the Red Cross through Amazon alone, let alone the many other relief sites and organizations collecting donations.
Originally the US Government only pleged $35 million (which individuals have probably already topped), and recently increased that to $350 million.
Tsunami releif still tops all the news sites I visit and the TV I've watched.
It is interesting the mention of radar... though he might have misinterprted how radar was used (maybe radar was used to track the plane, and other technology to base the laser's position off of that, who knows).
Posted by Jim at December 31, 2004 02:42 PMim suprised that Jim has watched the news on the television.
Posted by at December 31, 2004 05:15 PMWell, they mention things during commercial breaks.
Posted by Jim at January 3, 2005 03:08 AMCan I join your discussion ,guys, since I haven't seen you in awhile. I agree with Jim about aid to tsunami victims. I feel like it's everywhere and even if you try to run away from it, it catches you right there.
SO, where can I read about this whole laser deal?
but since when does Jim watch commercials?
Posted by at January 3, 2005 09:51 PMoh, and is it true that the island of Sumatra moved about 100 ft...it might have been yards, but nonetheless it was some rediculous distance for an entire island to move!
