Comments: Where Are You From?

i think you should disavow yourself of the notion that you're the only one with a quirky, cheeky sense of humor. i guarantee the "chicago time" was thrown in there with humorous intent. which, predictably, went whoooooooosh right over your head, and then you turned it into what you think is your own joke

Why would I think that I am the only person with such a sense a humor? The probability associated with that is infinitesimal.

Also, this particular TA barely speaks English (it seems like this is first year in the states), and he is very serious. It just doesn't seem like he could make a joke if he tried.

Finally, I didn't make it my joke. I just shared something I found humorous. Too bad you missed the point, else you may have laughed.
