i can no longer resist the urge to comment on this. to presume you actually know the fate of someone's eternal soul is preposterous. granted, as far as you know they might be fine jesus-loving people who try to uphold the commandments and make disciples of all nations in earnest, but you can't know for absolutely sure that they're sincere. particularly for someone who's quite critical about most everything, this seems like a huge leap of faith, so to speak. ultimately, you can be pretty darn sure that someone else will be in heaven, but you can't know for sure. no one can know what motives are truly in their hearts
