Yeah, I agree with everything you said, for sure. This movie is enjoyable (I saw it in the theater, but recently saw it again on DVD).
You know... the only think that held this movie back from a top knotch movie that I'd like to own - was definately the action scenes. The cinematography of the fighting was terrible. You can't see the actual fighting because they flip camera angles SO often! Also, it can be a cool affect to get a camera shot of the fighting from a distance, where something is impeding the viewer's sight... but again, this movie went WAY overboard! Almost all the fighting had extended footage of this nature.
All in all, it's worth seeing - even more than once (even though I don't like Katie Holmes because she married a nut and her acting can get bland).
I'd say... 3.5 stars from me (out of 5).
