Don't they do that whole "Ding" thing for just that reason?

perhaps since you know.. the holidays are a busier travel season, they sell tickets further in advance than other tickets. Did it actually say somewhere on the site they only sell tickets X days in advance? or did you just look at the calender and check to see the latest flight you could book and assume that X was a static number?

JT - as far as I know, Ding doesn't do this. At least I don't know how to make it go this.

Nick - Yes, I assumed X is a static number. A poor assumption.

Hey, Southwest just started doing Christmas tickets (and yes, ding does show you this, apparently - on my ding it says "you are now free to book travel through January 9th" as one of the messages).

I booked mine, lots of dates close to Christmas already booked up but I found a few cheap non-stops.
